Treasure Trove is a bookstore run by my friend’s mom.
They sell secondhand books at various markets around where I live. The idea of a pirate theme where the treasure is the books really stuck out to me.
The logo and treasure chest were both sketched and then vectorized. The paper was made using various textures and torn up paper edges.
For the gazebo I needed to redesign the logo to fit the thin edges, as the almost square nature of the logo (used in the poster) would be too small to easily read from a distance.
I then used the treasure chest the mascot of the shop and placed it on every other triangular face.

Above you will find various stages in the making of this project.
The Logo was quiet difficult to land on often scrapping ideas at various stages to come to the final look.
I was going to keep the chest as a drawn illustration, but after seeing how it would look in vector, I opted to use the vector.
